The ocean view room was far away from beach activities and had a noticeable smell of mold, despite the helpful staff acknowledging the issue. It was the only fairly booked resort in Playa. The location is right on the beach with exceptional food options, but the room lacked proper air conditioning, causing discomfort. The dining experience offered good, but limited, variety. The service was very friendly and accommodating, with staff going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very out dated and sadly not very comfortable, reminiscent of a freshman dorm in college. On the plus side, they were spacious and clean. The service was phenomenal, with helpful and kind staff. The location was safe and in a secured area close to Playa Del Carmen. Unfortunately, the dining experience was subpar with limited options. Overall, a stay with some highs and lows.
The hotel offers basic rooms without extra amenities commonly found elsewhere, like no coffee maker or stocked fridge, and charges a daily fee for the safe. However, the spacious rooms are conveniently located right on the beach. The service is warm and welcoming, but improvements in room renovations are needed. My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, right on the beach and close to town, with friendly staff making the stay enjoyable.
